Eric S. Clark is a principal in the in the Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio offices of Jackson Lewis P.C., as well as in Louisville, Kentucky. Whether wearing his litigator or labor lawyer hat, Eric strives to become an extension of clients’ legal and operational teams to optimize their goals and achieve a uniquely defined measure of success.

An experienced first chair trial attorney, he represents employers in defense of single plaintiff, class and collective action litigation involving wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, disability and other employment law claims.

Eric also has spent a good deal of time during his practice taking a seat at the bargaining table assisting unionized employers in collective bargaining, contract advice, long term strategy, grievance management and arbitration proceedings. He also understands that in the case of both unionized and union-free clients, establishing positive employee relations in an important factor of meeting organization goals and minimizing risk. He counsels employers to develop and maintain personnel policies and personnel infrastructures that result in a productive workforce and mutually beneficial environment.

Eric advises clients on compliance with the myriad of federal and state employment laws, including the NLRA, ERISA, FLSA, Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Service Contract Act and prevailing Wage laws, as well as new legal developments impacting labor and employment policies and practices.

Before joining Jackson Lewis, Eric was Labor Counsel at General Electric Co. in Lynn, Massachusetts.
