Matthew J. Epstein
Matthew J. Epstein is an associate in the Boston, Massachusetts, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Understanding that employment issues often involve legal, operational, and employee relations considerations, Matt works closely with clients to develop strategic solutions that help manage risk while supporting organizational goals.
Matt represents employers in state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration proceedings. He defends employers in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, restrictive covenants, and other employment-related claims.
In addition to his litigation practice, Matt advises employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. He assists clients with drafting and revising employee handbooks, workplace policies, and employment agreements, and helps employers navigate evolving workplace regulations. Matt also counsels clients on cross-border employment issues and international workforce matters, as well as traditional labor law issues, including collective bargaining-related matters and labor arbitrations.
Before joining Jackson Lewis, he worked as a business immigration paralegal at an Am Law 100 law firm. He also interned with the employment law department of a global technology company and with the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
