Jackson Lewis Strengthens California Presence with Addition of Diana Lerma and Peter B. Maretz

NEW YORK, NY (September 18, 2025) — Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce that Diana Lerma and Peter B. Maretz have joined the firm as principals in its Los Angeles and San Diego offices, respectively.

 

Diana’s practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling. She has extensive class action, PAGA and trial experience across the hospitality industry. She is known for her ability to connect with juries and deliver results, successfully representing employers in complex civil litigation matters. Her practice emphasizes not only achieving favorable outcomes but also building enduring partnerships grounded in trust. Diana earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law and her B.A from the University of California San Diego.

Peter is a trusted advocate in high-stakes litigation with a record of securing favorable verdicts in dozens of employment trials. Peter earned his J.D. from University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) and his A.B from Dartmouth College.
