Jackson Lewis Welcomes Trial Attorney Paul J. Lukas

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (November 4, 2025) — National employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce Paul J. Lukas has joined the firm’s Minneapolis office as a principal. Paul is a nationally recognized trial attorney with more than 35 years of litigation experience, known for his aggressive and creative strategies and proven results.

Paul is a member of Jackson Lewis’ Trials and Appeals group and brings a unique perspective to litigation, having spent more than 35 years on the plaintiff side of the courtroom. His career began with a wide variety of criminal, personal injury and employment cases, eventually focusing on plaintiff-side employment litigation. He has obtained favorable verdicts in cases involving overtime and minimum wage violations, age, race, national origin, and sex discrimination, sexual harassment and assault, retaliation, whistleblower claims, breach of contract, minority shareholder disputes, non-compete enforcement and breach of fiduciary duty.

Throughout his career, Paul has successfully represented clients in more than 50 jury and bench trials, as well as multiple arbitrations. His extensive experience spans employment, wage and hour, and ERISA litigation, with a focus on class and collective actions. From individual employment cases to complex multi-million-dollar class actions, Paul has consistently leveraged trial as a critical tool to drive results.

Paul joins Jackson Lewis from Nichols Kaster, a nationally recognized plaintiffs’ class action firm, where he served as co-leader of the ERISA Class Action Litigation Team. He played an instrumental role in growing the firm from a three-lawyer practice into a formidable, well-funded national firm with more than 35 attorneys. His leadership and strategic litigation skills were central to the firm’s success.

Paul earned his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and his B.A. from St. John’s University.
