Jacob R. Bohn

Jacob "Jake" Bohn is an associate in the Jacksonville, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Jake’s practice focuses on workplace dispute prevention and resolution. As a litigator, Jake represents management and employers at all stages of government investigations, and in state and federal courts. As a counselor, he assists human resource professionals implementing company policies, drafting restrictive covenants, and navigating complex employment decisions.

Prior to joining the Jackson Lewis team, Jake spent nearly four years as a commercial litigator at an international Am Law 50 firm, where his practice focused on real estate disputes and consumer protection defense. Before attending law school, Jake spent seven years as a Field Artillery Officer in the United States Army. While in service, Jake deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and graduated from Army Ranger, Airborne, Air Assault, and Jumpmaster Schools.

Jake’s background and diverse experience allow him to advocate for a vast array of clients in all types of workplace matters, including restrictive covenant litigation, and the defense of whistleblower, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims under both state and federal law. He is an aggressive litigator who has tried cases to successful verdicts in both state and federal court.

Jake spends all his spare time with his wife and children enjoying the Northeast Florida beaches and attractions, and following the Army Black Knights, his favorite college team and alma mater.
