SACRAMENTO, CA (December 4, 2025) — Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. is pleased to announce that Victoria L. Boesch has joined the firm as a principal in the Sacramento office. She joins the firm from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California, where she served as Chief of the Civil Defense Unit.
Vicky has more than 20 years of experience litigating complex civil cases on behalf of the United States, federal agencies and employees, enhancing the firm’s bench strength in high-stakes trial and appellate work. At Jackson Lewis, she will focus her practice on defending employers in complex employment and workplace litigation, including trial and appellate matters as a member of its Trials and Appeals group.
“Vicky’s extensive experience defending the federal government in complex civil litigation adds tremendous depth to our Trials and Appeals group,” said Greg Riolo, leader of the Trials and Appeals group. “Her perspective from the U.S. Attorney’s Office gives clients an insider’s understanding of how government cases are built and tried, strengthening our ability to deliver efficient, strategic defenses in high-stakes matters.”
Before joining Jackson Lewis, Vicky served as an Assistant United States Attorney and previously practiced at Munger, Tolles & Olson, where she focused on complex litigation. She also clerked for the Honorable A. Wallace Tashima of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
During her tenure at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Vicky oversaw teams defending the federal government in employment discrimination, tort, and environmental cases and challenges to agency decisions. She has significant experience managing cases through all phases of litigation, from investigation through appeal, and is recognized for her ability to navigate complex legal and procedural issues.
“We’re excited to welcome Vicky to our Sacramento team,” said Carolyn G. Burnette, Sacramento office managing principal. “Her deep roots in the federal legal community and extensive trial experience bring tremendous value to our clients across California. Vicky’s background at the U.S. Attorney’s Office adds an important perspective that will strengthen our ability to help employers navigate complex workplace and litigation challenges.”
Vicky’s arrival follows the addition of Principal Paul J. Lukas, who joined the firm’s Trials and Appeals group last month, reflecting Jackson Lewis’ continued investment in expanding its national trial capabilities.
Vicky earned her J.D. from University of California, Berkeley School of Law and her B.A. from Dartmouth College.
