Jackson Lewis Adds Barbara L. Harris Chiang as Principal in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (July 27, 2026) — Nationwide employment law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. announced Barbara L. Harris Chiang has joined the firm's San Francisco office as a principal. Barbara has more than 25 years of experience representing employers in employment litigation and workplace matters.

"Barbara is an accomplished employment litigator with significant experience representing employers in complex workplace disputes," said National Litigation Practice Head Stephanie L. Adler-Paindiris. "Her experience in high-stakes litigation and class actions strengthens our national Employment Litigation practice, and we are excited to welcome her to the team."

Barbara represents employers in federal and state courts, arbitration and before administrative agencies. Her practice includes defending employers against claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour class actions, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) claims, disability accommodation, leave issues and reductions in force.

In addition to her litigation practice, Barbara advises employers on employment law compliance, workplace investigations, employee policies, terminations, reductions in force and other workplace matters. She has represented clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies across a broad range of industries.

Barbara earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law and her B.A. from Missouri State University.
