Robert J. Guidotti is a Principal in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Rob has dedicated his career to representing management in labor and employment matters at Jackson Lewis, cultivating long‑term client relationships and applying his extensive legal knowledge to secure favorable results.

Rob recognizes the evolving labor landscape and works closely with employers to develop workplace policies and practices that mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and support constructive employee relations. Rob provides advice and counsel to employers regarding the establishment of employee relations programs, the establishment and maintenance of lawful double-breasted operations, and union organizing and decertification efforts. When conflict arises, Rob leverages his experience to effectively represent employers in all aspects of traditional labor law, including collective bargaining, grievance handling, and unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board and the New York State Public Relations Board. Rob also regularly represents employers in labor arbitration involving discipline and discharge, contract interpretation, and other labor-management disputes.

Rob also maintains an active transactional practice, counseling employers on labor and employment issues arising from mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and other business transactions. Rob’s work includes labor and employment due diligence, collective bargaining agreement considerations, workforce transitions, and post-transaction integration and labor strategy.

Additionally, Rob provides practical advice to employers on day-to-day workplace issues, including employee handbooks and policies, employee discipline and terminations, internal investigations, wage and hour compliance, discrimination and retaliation matters, and disability and leave management. Rob also conducts training for employees, human resources professionals, managers, and supervisors on proactive best practices for legal compliance.
