Biography

Brittany A. Tarazona is an Associate in the Long Island, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on employment litigation, such as defense of discrimination and retaliation claims, as well as representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

While attending law school, Ms. Tarazona was a member of the FIU Law Review, which published her comment, and served as an Articles and Comments Editor. She was also a member of the moot court team. She competed in the final round of her law school’s annual moot court competition and obtained awards for Best Oralist in preliminary rounds and Best Brief Runner-Up.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Ms. Tarazona gained experience on a wide range of complex business and civil matters, including employment-related claims, unfair competition matters, defamation issues, non-compete and trade secret actions, deceptive trade practices and fraud claims, copyright litigation, contract cases, and others. In law school, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Paul C. Huck of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Honorable Robin Rosenberg for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Palm Beach County, Florida.
