Jason A. Anon is an associate in the Miami, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including pre-litigation claims and litigation, as well as preventive advice and counseling.

Jason advises and represents employers across a wide range of industries with respect to various employment law matters, including those involving discrimination and harassment, wage and hour issues, wrongful termination, whistleblower and retaliation claims, and non-compete/restrictive covenant issues. He also advises managers and supervisors on preventive litigation practices, compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and best practices for avoiding workplace disputes and resolving employee relations problems.

While attending law school, Jason ranked third in his graduating class and earned a number of distinctions including Dean’s List for all eligible semesters, CALI Excellence for the Future Awards (Book Awards) in seven courses, a Dean’s Scholarship, and the 2018 Florida Bar Labor & Employment Law Section Scholarship. Jason also served as a senior staff member on the FIU Law Review and as an advocate on the FIU Law Board of Appellate Advocates (Moot Court Team), publishing two legal scholarly pieces and placing as a Regional Semifinalist and “Top 10 Regional Oralist” during the 2018-19 American Bar Association National Appellate Advocacy Competition, respectively. During the annual FIU College of Law Intramural Moot Court Competition, Jason and a partner placed first out of 33 two-person teams and received the runner-up “Best Respondent Brief” Award, ultimately arguing before U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judges Patricia A. Millet, Robin S. Rosenbaum, and Jill A. Pryor in the championship oral argument round. Finally, Jason worked as a judicial intern to Judge Robin S. Rosenbaum of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and Judge Jose E. Martinez of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Jason has worked with Jackson Lewis since his second year of law school when he interned as a law clerk in the firm’s Miami office.
