Neil D. Kodsi


Neil D. Kodsi is Of Counsel in the Miami, Florida office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He is a seasoned trial lawyer with nearly 30 years of jury trial experience. Mr. Kodsi has tried numerous cases to verdict in both federal and state court. He represents management in all facets of employment law with an emphasis on complex litigation cases and class actions.

Mr. Kodsi’s clients include national retail establishments, national restaurant chains,  aviation companies, telecommunications companies, manufacturers, employers in the healthcare industry, health plans, staff leasing and professional employer associations, engineering firms, printing companies, hotel and conference centers, financial services companies, biotechnology firms, pharmaceutical companies, producers of nutritional supplements, among others.

Mr. Kodsi's practice includes:

  • Advice and litigation defense (individual or class action) of discrimination and harassment cases including, Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FLSA, FMLA;
  • Preparation of/defense of employment contracts and non-competes;
  • Defense of wage and hours claims;
  • Advice and handling of workers’ compensation retaliation and disability claims;
  • Defense of defamation claims; and
  • Defense of complex commercial employment-related disputes in federal and state courts throughout the United States.

Mr. Kodsi is a sought-after lecturer on trial skills to fellow members of the bar and has frequently conducted programs alongside members of the local judiciary for younger lawyers regarding trial techniques.

In a nutshell, Mr. Kodsi is, first and foremost, a trial lawyer and his extensive trial and litigation background serve him well in handling complex employment disputes in state and federal courts for Jackson Lewis' clients.
