Ed Cherof has over 40 years of experience working with companies to provide an unmatched combination of legal and strategic advice in meeting the specific needs of unionized and non-union work environments. Working with employers across the country to achieve their labor and employee relations goals, Ed has a successful and sustained track record in developing creative and innovative programs to bolster positive employee relations.

As an experienced labor relations practitioner, Ed negotiates collective bargaining agreements and regularly handles arbitrations and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board. In a practice that has historically been fueled by contention and is presently subject to constant change resulting from shifting cultural and political norms, Ed’s experience provides a solid foundation that employers need in their corner to prepare for any contingency and attain and maintain workforce stability.

A recognized national leader in the area of management training, Ed founded the Jackson Lewis Management Training Practice Group over 15 years ago and continues to co-lead the firm’s national practice today. He works with clients to develop and present personalized and outside-the-box training methods and curriculum. Throughout Ed’s long tenure with the firm, he has served in various leadership roles, including as a member of its Board of Directors and has contributed to the firm’s steadfast commitment to client service excellence.
