
Angelo G. Labate
Angelo G. Labate is an associate in the New York City office of Jackson Lewis P.C. His practice focuses on providing advice and counsel to employers regarding workplace matters and resolving employment-related disputes in federal and state court or before administrative agencies.
Angelo's practice also involves helping clients protect their confidential information through counseling and prosecuting or defending actions involving restrictive covenants, unfair competition, and trade secrets. Angelo's prior experience practicing in the commercial litigation department of a large national law firm and with an entertainment-focused law firm allow him to approach employment and restrictive covenant questions with a commercial mindset and holistic, creative approach to his client's business problems.
During law school Angelo served as an extern for a full academic year for United States Magistrate Judge Michael G. Gotsch Sr. of the Northern District of Indiana. Prior to law school Angelo taught 7th and 8th social studies at a public school in the South Bronx and was a member of the 2012 Teacher for America corps.
