Delonie A. Plummer is an associate in the New York City office of Jackson Lewis. Delonie represents employers in workplace law matters, including preventative advice and counsel related to general employment, fair housing, data, privacy and cybersecurity, and restrictive covenants. Delonie defends large and small corporations, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions in matters brought before federal, state and city agencies, and in state and federal courts. Delonie also represents clients in traditional labor matters involving collective bargaining, performance management, union grievances, unfair labor practice charges, and disputes related to contract interpretation before arbitrators and government agencies.

In her education practice, Delonie supports education clients in various employment-related areas, including labor relations and responding to grievances, employee classification, development of educational programs, student and employee discipline, faculty and staff contract drafting, and handbook preparation for multi-state and international compliance. She also collaborates with education administrators on the development, implementation, and enforcement of policies related to Title IX compliance, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and workplace and academic accommodations.

Prior to re-joining Jackson Lewis, Delonie served as in-house labor and employment counsel for a global media company where she counseled creative directors, business executives, and human resources leaders on employment-related production matters affecting a workforce across the US, Canada, EMEA, and APAC. Delonie also served as in-house labor and employment counsel for a global University with campuses in over 10 countries including the US. Through her practice, Delonie works to promote cultural awareness and equity in the workplace.

While attending law school, Delonie served as a Senior Associate for the Pace International Law Review, and a Federal Judicial Honors Intern in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
