Litigation Practice

Mr. Martin represents small businesses, mid-sized companies, and national employers in all facets of litigation – from administrative agencies like the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the National Labor Relations Board to bench and jury trials in federal and state courts. He has successfully obtained summary judgment and dismissals in many cases but also works with businesses to find and negotiate common-sense resolutions to disputes where appropriate. Mr. Martin also has significant experience litigating class and collective actions under the FLSA, ERISA and applicable state laws.

Mr. Martin’s significant litigation experience includes successfully moving to enforce arbitration agreements and shortened statutes of limitations provisions.

Counseling Practice

While attending law school, Mr. Martin served as Articles Editor for the University of Cincinnati Law Review. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, he served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Sandra S. Beckwith, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Mr. Martin lives in Independence, Kentucky with his wife, Erin, and three sons (Liam, Oliver, and Myles).
