Thomas P. McDonough is a principal in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He counsels employers on a wide range of labor and employment law issues.

Tom regularly negotiates collective bargaining agreements for public and private sector employers. He also provides ongoing advice to clients on contract interpretation and represents them in grievance arbitration proceedings. Tom practices extensively before the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York’s Public Employment Relations Board, OSHA, in state and federal courts, and before various administrative agencies. He also represents public sector clients in disciplinary proceedings, disability-related hearings, and civil service matters.

Tom spends much of his time helping clients avoid workplace law problems and issues. He regularly trains managers and supervisors on labor relations, wage and hour laws, sexual and other forms of harassment, best employment practices, and other workplace law matters. He also helps clients develop effective employment policies and procedures designed to avoid workplace issues and minimize their exposure to costly litigation.
