As a leader of our Client Acquisition and Service Team, Peter Moskowitz plays a key role in the ongoing design and development of the firm’s innovative and forward-thinking approach to client management. He is also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. As relationship manager for a number of large national and multi-national employers, he leads teams focused on building long-term partnerships and delivering high-value, cost-effective legal service across practices and locations.

He partners with clients on all aspects of their workplace relationships, helping to implement preventive strategies, ensure compliance, and, where necessary, resolve disputes.

In his litigation practice, Peter defends employers against allegations of discrimination based on gender, race, disability, pregnancy, and national origin, as well as actions related to FMLA, ERISA, §1981, FLSA, Sarbanes-Oxley, wage and hour issues, retaliation, whistleblowing, restrictive covenants, non-solicitation agreements, and sexual harassment. In addition to single plaintiff matters, he handles litigations involving multiple plaintiffs as well as class and collective actions. He has conducted arbitrations before AAA, JAMs and FINRA panels. As a member of the Technology, Life Sciences and Financial Services industry groups, Peter is well versed in the workplace issues unique to those industries.

Peter is a member of the Board of Counselors of Equal Justice Works, a nonprofit organization that facilitates opportunities for law students and lawyers to engage in public service, where he helps create opportunities for lawyers to pursue equal justice for underserved communities.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis in 2001, Peter was an associate at a prominent New York law firm and a partner in a general practice firm.
