Stephen Price is the managing principal of the Nashville, Tennessee, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He focuses his practice on defending employers against claims of employment discrimination, retaliatory discharge, and wage and hour violations. Stephen’s labor practice involves advising and representing clients in labor arbitrations, union organizing attempts and corporate campaigns. He also frequently handles non-compete disputes. In addition, he has much experience defending against RICO claims and handling other business litigation.

Stephen strives to keep his clients out of court, counseling them in all aspects of employee relations, including handling internal investigations, advising on terminations, planning reductions in force, preparing employee policies, and drafting employment and separation agreements. But when litigation is necessary, Stephen stands ready to aggressively defend his clients in court and has substantial trial and arbitration experience, including several multi-week trials. He has also defended clients against complex class and collective actions, as well as RICO claims.

Stephen, whose youngest daughter has type 1 diabetes, is on the leadership board of the JDRF’s Middle Tennessee Chapter. He was co-chair of the JDRF’s 2011 Promise Gala in Nashville, which raised over $500,000 to help find a cure for diabetes. A proud Nashvillian for over 30 years, Stephen has served on the Nashville Downtown Partnership Board since 2013. He also has served on the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce’s Human Resources Committee since 2014.  In addition, Stephen has served on the Nashville Chamber of Commerce’s Prosperity Committee since 2017.

When he’s not busy at work or having fun with his wife and children, Stephen is an avid tennis player.
