Joseph J. DiPalma
Joseph J. DiPalma is a principal in the White Plains, New York, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Joe is a co-leader of the firm’s Private Equity Group as well as the co-leader of the Practicing and Parenting resource group.
By cultivating a thorough understanding of each client’s operations and workforce dynamics, Joe provides forward-thinking counsel on compliance, workplace litigation risk, and traditional labor matters. His collaborative approach empowers organizations to implement proactive strategies, minimize exposure, and resolve disputes with precision and efficiency.
As a core member of the firm’s Disability, Leave, and Health Management Group, Joe leverages his experience and institutional knowledge to devise creative solutions to the complex array of workplace disability and health management issues faced by employers, both large and small. Joe reviews and develops accommodation policies and management guidelines to support the administration of legally compliant programs and training. Joe also defends employers in ADA Title III litigation and Fair Housing Act Matters.
Joe is an active member of the firm’s Education and Collegiate Athletics Group and prioritizes legal solutions that serve an institution’s goals without jeopardizing its unique culture or the vital relationships cultivated between its students, faculty, and staff. Joe conducts policy reviews with an emphasis on preventative strategies and specifically appreciates the nuances relevant to specific ADA compliance challenges universities and colleges face. When conflict arises, Joe successfully litigates on behalf of both private and public institutions in matters related to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Emphasizing the importance of balance in life, when Joe is not in the office, he can be found spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and his children, Barrett, Kennedy, and Sienna.
