Angela S. Rho is of counsel in the Silicon Valley, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Angela Rho is a trusted employment law advisor and business partner who focuses on providing practical, common sense employment advice and counsel to California employers. She partners with management to provide business-minded solutions to challenging employment issues by preparing and implementing pragmatic, human-centric workplace policies to avoid litigation and ensure best practices.

As the daughter of immigrant business owners, Angela’s interest in employment law stems from her desire to apply her legal knowledge to her personal experiences to advise and assist employers to navigate California’s complex employment and wage and hour laws. Angela finds that employment law allows her to build on her ability to understand and relate to a diverse client base while building personal relationships with her clients in the process.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Angela's employment litigation practice included the defense of wrongful termination, discrimination, and retaliation claims and wage and hour actions. Angela also served as General Counsel and Director of Human Resources for a large privately held automotive group where she devoted a significant portion of her practice advising her dealerships on all areas of California labor and employment laws, dealership operations, internal policies and procedures, and overall risk mitigation.

Outside of Jackson Lewis, Angela volunteers much of her time serving on various non-profit boards, including the American Junior Golf Association, in which she currently serves as President. Growing up, Angela was a competitive junior golfer with accolades ranging from three-time Rolex Junior All-American, two-time Rolex Scholastic All-American, Junior World Champion, and representing the United States in both the Junior Match and Izzo Cup team events. Angela went on to accept a full athletic scholarship to Stanford University where she served as team captain on the university's NCAA Division I Women's Golf Team and was named as a scholar athlete and Pac-10 All-American.
