Biography
Gary L. Greenberg is a principal in the Cincinnati, Ohio, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He has more than 35 years of experience counseling and representing employers in a wide variety of workplace legal issues.
Gary advises and represents employers in all facets of traditional labor law, including union contract negotiations, organizing campaigns, unfair labor practice charges, labor arbitrations, and the purchase, sale, and lawful restructuring and redeployment of unionized operations. He also drafts, litigates and advises clients about post-separation restrictive covenants, including non-compete, non-solicitation and confidential information provisions.
In addition, Gary defends employers in federal and state court and before administrative agencies in cases involving claims of wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, failure to accommodate and other alleged violations of employment laws and regulations. He also counsels managers and human resource professionals on reducing the risks and costs of employment claims.

- Defense verdict for food industry-related employer and new hire in non-compete/interference with contract lawsuit brought by employee’s former employer, state court, Ohio
- Summary judgment for nursing home employer in race discrimination/workers compensation retaliation case, state court, Ohio
- Summary judgment for employer on multi-employer pension fund's use of lower interest rate for withdrawal liability than for funding purposes
