Jackson E. Biesecker is an associate in the Cleveland, Ohio, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. As a member of the firm’s Privacy, Data, and Cybersecurity practice group, Jackson advises companies on a wide range of privacy and security issues, including compliance, incident response, and regulatory investigations. Jackson is also a member of the firm’s Employee Benefits practice, focusing on ERISA litigation involving single employer and multiemployer benefit plans.

With over a decade of experience working in cybersecurity and technology management, Jackson helps companies respond effectively in the aftermath of a data breach. Responding to an incident often requires coordination between technical and non-technical business units. Jackson facilitates communication by being able to translate complicated technical details into understandable terms. Jackson is also able to direct technical investigations according to identified business needs.

Jackson also counsels on issues related to biometrics, surveillance technology, geolocation, workplace privacy, and emerging technologies.

Prior to law school, Jackson worked as a professional actor and photographer. He continues to be a fervent supporter of the arts.
