Jacqueline M. Gardner is an associate in the Orlando, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in workplace law matters, including preventive advice and counseling.

Jacqueline’s interest in employment law began during an internship with the U.S. Navy JAG Corps. While assisting on disciplinary and criminal matters, she developed respect for the fact that service members’ careers and livelihoods were at stake in nearly every case. In defending the sailors, she also gained a deep appreciation for the balance between both the individual careers of the sailors and the overall risks to and needs of the Navy. She brings this very same appreciation, understanding, and experience to her current work where her goal is to help clients minimize risks and avoid litigation — ultimately encouraging and maintaining a healthy employer-employee relationship while allowing clients’ businesses to thrive.

Jacqueline began her career in commercial litigation and arbitration by advising and representing financial advisors and institutions in matters covering securities, regulatory investigations, and restrictive covenants and trade secrets pending before federal and state courts and FINRA arbitrations.

While attending law school, Jacqueline assisted in various mentorship roles as a Levin Ambassador, teaching assistant for first-year legal writing and appellate advocacy courses, and coach for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team. Jacqueline also volunteered with Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc.

Though she remains a fiercely loyal Georgia Bulldogs fan, Jacqueline also enjoys returning to her other alma mater for Gator football games with her family.
