Jeanette R. Youngblood

Jeanette “Jeanie” R. Youngblood is of counsel in the Sacramento office and is a longstanding member of the firm’s California Advice and Counsel Group. She provides advice to both public and private sector clients.  Jeanie strives to provide clients practical solutions for addressing the myriad of current and ever-changing requirements of California employment laws.  Her litigation experience, before joining the advice group, informs and guides the advice she provides.  In recognition that clients have a spectrum of risk tolerances when making decisions on employment matters, Jeanie provides an evaluation of the options available and their corresponding risks.  

Jeanie’s experience includes providing advice on wage and hour issues, disability management, leave administration, termination and disciplinary actions including WARN Act compliance, audits, handbook reviews, and incentive plans.   She has helped many clients with the implementation of alternative workweek schedules and has significant experience conducting workplace investigations for public agencies and private employers.
