Lorien E. Schoenstedt is the Director of Knowledge Management Attorneys at Jackson Lewis. Lorien oversees a high-performing team of Knowledge Management Attorneys and Practice & Industry Group Specialists to develop and maintain high-quality knowledge resources, training programs, and technology-enabled tools that enhance consistency, efficiency, and responsiveness in client matters. 

Before moving into her current role, Lorien served as a Knowledge Management Attorney supporting the firm’s Labor Relations and Workplace Training practice groups. In that capacity, she worked closely with attorneys to develop resources, training programs, and strategic initiatives designed to help clients enhance positive employee relations and navigate collective bargaining, unfair labor practice proceedings, and workforce training needs. 

Lorien is deeply involved in attorney training and practice enablement and collaborates with firm stakeholders on supporting practice group initiatives. She also focuses on the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and innovation tools, working closely with cross-functional teams to pilot solutions that align with the firm’s practice needs and client expectations. Through this work, she supports a collaborative culture that values mentorship, shared knowledge, and continuous improvement.

Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Lorien practiced in education and municipal law and began her legal career in private practice. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and is based in the firm’s Chicago area.
