Maurice G. Jenkins is a Principal in the Detroit, Michigan, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He has practiced labor and employment law for more than 30 years.

A trial lawyer, Maurice, who is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, has first chaired jury trials, labor and civil rights arbitrations, NLRB hearings and state civil rights administrative cases on behalf of employers in such business sectors as automotive (OEM; Tier .5-4 suppliers and retail), life sciences manufacturing, international, national and regional consumer retailers, information technology, telecommunications, gaming, and financial services. He also advises and represents employers with respect to strategic labor relations matters, collective bargaining and NLRB litigation.

In addition, Maurice has conducted investigations of workplace fatalities, improper conduct on the part of procurement agents, and alleged workplace harassment. He has also handled whistleblower investigations and litigation, investigated alleged financial reporting improprieties, provided assessments and advice with respect to establishing and maintaining effective employee "hotlines" and other internal reporting structures, and evaluated conflict of interest guidelines implemented by various multinational companies. He is a seasoned and business savvy lawyer who has been counted upon by companies to assist in achieving important business goals and, if necessary, litigate on their behalf in furtherance of those goals. An accountant before becoming a lawyer, Maurice began his professional career as a financial and tax analyst at General Motors Corporation and then, after graduating from law school, he advanced to become GM's chief NLRB litigation counsel before embarking on a career in private practice.
