Michael Luchsinger is of counsel in the Chicago, Illinois, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Whether defending an employer in litigation or crafting proactive workplace policies to avoid it, Michael remains resolute in the core principle of his practice that optimal outcomes for employers require consistent transparent communication.

Michael believes that a relationship built on by maintaining regular dialogue at every stage of a matter ensures he keeps the values, goals and reputation of the business top of mind. Building on this foundation Michael creates a robust partnership allowing him to more successfully resolve often difficult workplace disputes and craft targeted policies to avoid future conflict.

Striving to apply the highest level of legal knowledge and advocacy, Michael counsels employers in matters involving federal and multi-jurisdictional state workplace laws, including representing employers in matters involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, and FLSA. He practices before the EEOC, Illinois Department of Human Rights, as well as state and federal courts in Illinois and Wisconsin. Michael’s experience extends to complex matters in the construction, trucking, and automotive industries.

Michael lives in Wheaton, Illinois. Michael is a dedicated runner and has completed thirteen marathons—not including his trial experience.
