Samantha S. McPherson

Samantha S. McPherson is of counsel in the San Diego, California, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour and representative actions.

Samantha’s practice also includes counseling and advising employers on personnel issues such as hiring, discipline, termination, and leaves of absence. Samantha provides training seminars on a wide variety of topics including harassment prevention, discrimination, and providing workplace accommodations.   

Samantha began her legal career in the San Diego District Attorney’s Office where she second-chaired two felony trials and one misdemeanor trial. 

While in law school, Samantha was a judicial extern for the Honorable John A. Houston, United States District Court, Southern District of California. She was also the recipient of several scholarships including Lourine W. Twyman scholarship, Dean’s Diversity Scholarship, and California Bar Foundation Diversity Scholarship.
