Biography
Steven M. Phillips is a principal in the Minneapolis, Minnesota, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. He has more than 25 years of experience litigating employment and financial services matters in arbitration, state, and federal courts across the country.
Steven has represented employers in cases of all types, including those involving contract disputes, confidentiality agreements, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, trade secrets, injunctive relief, employee “raiding,” defamation, and in partnership or shareholder disputes. In the financial services area, he has appeared in hundreds of FINRA arbitrations, as well as in SEC, FINRA and state regulatory matters. Steven has also represented both public and private companies in complex and class action litigation.
Before joining the firm, Steven was a trial attorney with a business litigation firm in Minneapolis.
