Biography

Victoria (“Tori”) Ainsworth is an associate in the Portland, Oregon, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Her practice focuses on representing employers in a wide variety of employment law matters, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and contract claims, as well as preventive advice and counseling.  

Tori litigates both single plaintiff and class action lawsuits and represents employers at all stages of the legal process, from day-to-day preventive advice to trial to the conclusion of an appeal. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Tori practiced civil litigation, with an emphasis on employment law. She has advised and defended public and private employers regarding discrimination, harassment, retaliation, non-compete, wage and hour compliance, family medical leave law, breach of contract, and wrongful termination claims in state and federal court and before administrative agencies. Tori is also an experienced appellate advocate. She is the chair of the King County Bar Association Appellate Law Section Executive Committee and has successfully represented clients in the Washington Court of Appeals and the Washington State Supreme Court.
